DUEFIELD.

FAQs

Common questions.

01

Can I run several clients and projects at once?

Yes, and there is no limit on either. Active work is ordered by what is due next and anything late jumps to the top, so a full roster still reads as one list.

02

Can I charge a client in multiple currencies?

Yes. Currency is set on each project and each invoice, so one client can have a job in dollars and the next in pounds. Their total on the Clients page is listed per currency, never added together.

03

How do I handle work that is waiting on client feedback?

Set it to Awaiting Feedback. Use In Revision instead when you are the one making the changes. Both stop the project counting as late, and your client sees the same status on the share link.

04

What happens when a deadline passes?

The project turns overdue, the countdown keeps running to show how late it is, and it moves to the top of your list. Nothing is deleted or hidden.

05

Does a client need an account to see project progress?

No. Send them the project share link. It opens a simple page with the status and live countdown that nobody can edit. No signup, no password, nothing to install.

06

Will Duefield remind me before a deadline?

Yes. You get an email twelve hours and six hours before it is due, and one more if it passes. That is three per project at most, and you can switch them off in your account.

07

Can I email an invoice from Duefield?

Yes. Enter your client's address and Duefield sends the invoice as a PDF attachment, showing your business name as the sender with your own email set as the reply address.

08

Can invoices carry my own branding?

Yes. Save your logo, business name, tax number and payment details once, and every new invoice fills them in for you.

09

Can more than one person share a workspace?

Not yet. A workspace belongs to one account, so there are no seats to manage and no permissions to set up. Everything in it stays private to you.
